Marta G. Rivera discusses about gender equality and sustainable food systems in a UN Women's report

Marta G. Rivera, INGENIO (CSIC-UPV)'s researcher, has contributed in a report entitled "Achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the context of climate change, environmental and disaster risk reduction policies and programmes" published by UN Women.

Rivera's contribution was in the discussion about sustainable energy transitions and regenerative food and agricultural systems. Rivera wrote about sustainable food systems and gender equality in the context of climate change and biodiversity conservation.

This report reflects the presentations and discussions during the CSW66 Expert Group Meeting celebrated on last october, and relies on the findings and conclusions of the background and expert papers.
