Alejandra Boni will give a lecture about epistemic justice at the Institute for development studies
Alejandra Boni, INGENIO (CSIC-UPV)'s deputy director, will give a lecture about: "Navigating uncertainty with epistemic justice – reflections for higher education institutions". This event, hosted by the Institute of Development Studies, will be next Thursday, at 18:00 pm (CEST).
In this lecture, Alejandra Boni will develop an approach to epistemic justice based on insights from the collective book "Participatory Research, Capabilities and Epistemic Justice – a Transformative Agenda for Higher Education". The lecture will be followed by a discussion on what the epistemic justice approach can bring to the politics of uncertainty field, illustrated with some examples from higher education institutions in the Global South and North. Matias Ramirez, Senior Lecturer in Management at SPRU (Science Policy Research Unit), will be the chairperson of the lecture.

About Alejandra Boni
Alejandra Boni is professor at Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain) and deputy director of Ingenio (CSIC-UPV). She is honorary professor at the University of the Free State in South Africa. Her research interests focus on human development, higher education, global citizenship and transformative innovation. She is leading the formative evaluation component of the Transformative Innovation Policy Consortium.
