The 6th edition of PhD Days will take place on March 5th, 6th & 7th at the INGENIO (CSIC-UPV) facilities in València. This is a call for a critical reappraisal of innovation, in particular: the social understanding of its nature; the new challenges it poses, including environmental and socio-economic effects; and the policy responses that emerge or can be proposed to deal with them. This event will encourage debates in two parallel broad domains: ‘Pushing the boundaries: Redefining the limits of innovation’ and ‘New forms of generating innovation’.

The conference is organized by PhD students and aimed to PhD students, as well. It provides early career researchers with an opportunity to present their work in a comfortable environment, improve their communication skills, and receive feedback from fellow PhD students and senior researchers.

Call for papers!

Potential participants are invited to submit a short bio, along with an extended abstract (between 1500 and 1800 words) by no later than December 6th, 2024. Applicants will also need to specify which of the four conference themes best aligns with their contribution: "New challenges for Innovation Studies", "Dynamic Innovation Ecosystems", "Strategies for Innovative Governance" and "Networks towards transformation".

Accepted abstracts will be announced on January 8th, 2025.
