Graduates follow-up is a recent activity in Spanish universities. This activity has spread throughout the whole system both at an institutional and regional level, becoming a regular process in many institutions. We describe some analytical approaches undertaken by different institutions and regions. Methodologically, we find a lack of comparability among the results due to the different approaches and type of questionnaires that were employed. Results show that the initial situation of graduates in the labour market is not good due to an initial mismatch between higher education and the labour market.
