A Deep Transition framework for Transformative Investment

The polycrisis demands substantial more investment, however just more will not be sufficient. The nature of investment needs to change and become focused on transformative change. The presentation will introduce the Deep Transition perspective, discuss trends and new developments in the investment industry and then provide examples for how to invest in transformative change. Short CV: 

Johan Schot is Professor of Global History and Sustainability Transitions at the Utrecht University Centre for Global Challenges and one of the founders of the Sustainability Transitions research field. Through experimentation, Schot enables policy makers, funders and investors to recognise, implement and evaluate opportunities for system transformation. His two flagship projects are the Transformative Innovation Policy Consortium and the Deep Transitions Lab.
