    +34 963 877 007 ext: 75680

I am a Professor at the UPV and I have been teaching at the UPV School of Industrial Engineering since 1998. I am a senior researcher at the INGENIO research institute (CSIC-UPV).
My main line of research focuses on the application of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Analytic Network Process (ANP) methodologies to create indicators that help evaluation and decision-making in participatory processes. Within this field of research, my two main lines of work are: (i) Participatory Decision Making, (ii) Application of Multi-Criteria Models to assess social responsibility and environmental sustainability of policies and organisations.
I lead a research group, I have promoted a consolidated line of work that has generated an important scientific production in high quality journals, obtained several research and knowledge transfer projects with public and private funding and consolidated the scientific career of several researchers. I would like to highlight that I am currently the most cited European author in the field of Analytic Network Process (noticia)(publ) I have currently consolidated three research periods. Since 2011, I have carried out a total of 4 teaching internships, 2 research internships, at the University of Cassino (IT) (2013) and at Fraunhoffer ISI, Karlsruhe, (D) (2021) and several faculty mobility actions in the USA, Italy and Germany.
The main contributions and the most relevant merits of my CV associated with the proposed project are presented below.

1. Most relevant scientific contributions:
I have been the Principal Investigator of 3 R&D projects funded by the Ministry of Science, 1 European project (PI of the Spanish group), 2 projects of the Generalitat Valenciana (GV) and 3 of the UPV. The total funding obtained with these 9 projects has been 272,098 EUR.
Four of them are closely linked to the project presented here, 3 of them dedicated to obtaining indicators to monitor science policies from the Responsible Research and I nnovation perspective at European level (Super-MoRRI, 2018-2022), at national level (INPERRI, 2016-2020) and at regional level (RRICVAL, 2017-2019), and the fourth (INVISIBLES 2021-2024) dedicated to obtaining indicators to analyse the visibility of women in scientific events.
Others have been used to help decision-makers at different levels of public administrations to make strategic decisions involving multiple stakeholders: planning of activities for the development of a city (4), for the development of tourism in a region (3), for the shipbuilding industry (1), for the food industry (1), for the strategic planning of a university (3).
As a result of the research carried out, I have published 42 scientific publications in indexed journals to date. Four of them occupy the first, third, fifth and fifth position in their field respectively, with a total of 710 accumulated citations (WoS). I have an H=17 index.
2. Contributions to society:
I would like to highlight as a collaboration activity with the private sector an agreement that arose because of the research project on asset and real estate valuation models of which I was the PI. This agreement was signed with the company Tasaciones Bienes Mediterraneo S.A. and we developed a methodology for optimising market studies and an effective price orientation system based on the AHP that is still in use today.
In the field of Social Responsibility, which is the subject of this project, I have led a consultancy work for the DG for Innovation of the Generalitat Valenciana Towards a model of responsible innovation in the Valencian Community which presents an analysis of how the concept of IR can contribute to the RIS3 incorporating dimensions of social development or environmental protection. The goal is to propose lines of action to guide the GV's innovation policies and to be included in its new smart specialisation policy, which is currently being designed. I have also led a study with REDIT (2021), the network of Technological Institutes of the CV, RRI in the technological institutes of the CV, which concludes the need to include responsible practices in their innovation activities towards the productive sectors for which they work. Finally, in 2021 several members of the research team and myself as PI have signed an agreement with the Ministry of Education of Argentina through the Banco Iberoamericano del Desarrollo, for Business Innovation Consultancy Services, to develop during 2022 and 2023 a training programme in responsible business innovation for 100 young entrepreneurs.
The total funding obtained as PI from contracts and agreements to date has been 315.538 EUR.
3. Contributions to the training of young researchers:
I have supervised 9 doctoral theses already completed and 5 in progress. Of all these PhD students who have been trained within our research group, I would like to highlight that we currently have: 1 Juan de la Cierva postdoc contract, 2 Margarita Salas postdoc contracts (with postings in Pittsburgh and Berlin), 1 contract at IBV as R&D director (technology centre), 2 AYUD lecturers at the UV, 3 lecturers at foreign universities, 1 at Environmental Working Group at the DGXII UE. Of all the theses I would like to highlight one I am currently supervising, Exploring the role of key actors in collaborative knowledge networks, whose doctoral student has obtained a Marie Curie grant to carry it out.
I have been an ANECA evaluator for the ACADEMIA programme during the years 2010-2015.
